SMT1 can be used as an additive to oil prior to an oil change. When your engine is new, it is clean, so keep it that way by using SMT1 at each oil change. This will help your engine to operate at maximum efficiency and also extend the life of the engine components.
SMT1 is added to old engine oil at 10 to 20% ratio to oil and the engine is run at "no load" for 20 to 30 mins before draining the oil. This will remove contaminants and ensure the engine sump is clean prior to adding the new engine oil.
